Michael J. Davis is the Senior District Manager for the WM Chemical Waste Management Emelle AL. facility. He has been in the environmental industry since 1980 and is currently responsible for all operations and environmental compliance for the CWM Emelle RCRA / TSCA waste disposal facility. These responsibilities include; Disposal cell operations and construction, Waste Container process facility, Waste Receiving, Facility Services ,Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Site Maintenance, Operations of the Chemical leachate treatment plant , Stabilization / Solidification treatment units, Debris Management for Macroencapsulation and Microencapsulation, Safety , Haz Mat response and Waste Tracking Systems. During his career with WM he has been a Circle of Excellence winner twice, a Mark of Excellence Winner three times and a CWM Salesperson of the Year twice. He has a BS degree from the University of West Alabama and is active in his local community serving as Chairmen of the Board for the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce, serves as a University of West Alabama Foundation Board Member, serves on the University of West Alabama School of Business and Technology Advisory Board , Advisor to the University of West Alabama Division of Economic Development and Outreach, serves on the University of West Alabama Athletic Department Advisory Board Member for the development of the Black Belt Regional Agri-Center and is a member of the Alabama Region 3 Workforce Council . He currently lives in Livingston, Al where he and his wife Becky operate a commercial Black Angus cattle farm and enjoy hunting and fishing.
